The game’s maps are described as “compact battle zones” which have traditional historic Resident Evil themes and environments. Furthermore, the Steam Trading Cards from the game showed not only Shen Ya, but also the other pharmaceutical companies that are working with the Umbrella Corps: One of the most odd references is Shen Ya, one of the pharmaceutical companies being the Umbrella Corps Mercenaries, same company involved in the events of the Heavenly Island manga.

Part of the Antarctic Base survives the self destruction sequence from Code Veronica. With Umbrella Corps on sale I was reminded that despite the state of the game Capcom did intend it to be canon and there are some relevant plot elements that many people might not be aware of if they skipped the game.Īnd even if you dislike the game, see this thread as an opportunity to post what little you may find relevant for the series so that others won’t have to buy the game to look for it.
